"The greatest engine ever bolted to a maintenance schedule."
The S85 V10 is one of the finest engines in automotive history — and one of the most expensive to keep alive. Rod bearings, VANOS, 10 throttle actuators at $300 each, SMG pump. Ours is Dinan-sorted and obsessively maintained. You get the shriek. We get the bills.

"While its Carrera siblings self-destructed, the Turbo aged like fine wine."
The 996 Carrera had the IMS nightmare. The Turbo didn't — different bearing setup, stronger case, twin turbos that made it one of the most reliable and brutally fast 911s ever built. AWD, 415 hp, under 4 seconds to 60. The composed one in the fleet.

"Italian beauty. Italian ownership experience."
There is nothing on the road that sounds like a Maserati V8 at full cry. There is also nothing quite like a Maserati dealer service estimate. The GT MC is gorgeous, exotic, deeply impractical — which is exactly why it belongs here and not on your insurance policy. You drive it, we maintain it.

"The last naturally aspirated M3. Worth every penny of upkeep."
The E92 M3 with its 4.0L V8 is widely considered the purest M3 ever made — sharp, communicative, absolutely alive. It's also the one that introduced owners to VANOS rattles, rod bearing anxiety, and throttle actuator replacement as a hobby. On a good day — and most days are good — it's transcendent.

"America's answer to everything, top down."
The C6 Grand Sport Convertible is one of the great performance bargains in history — 430 hp, magnetic ride control, a chassis that embarrasses cars costing twice as much. Drop the top, point south on A1A, and remember why simple is sometimes perfect. The most approachable car in the fleet.

AWD, all-wheel steering, twin turbos, and active aerodynamics — in 1999. The VR4 was Mitsubishi trying to build a supercar with a parts bin and a dream. Spectacular to drive. Spectacular to avoid owning. The complexity that makes it legendary is exactly the complexity we're happy to absorb.

How it works

Simple.

01
Get invited
Apply for membership. Come tour the clubhouse on NW 9th. Meet the fleet. If it's a fit, you're in. Founding spots are limited and we'd like to keep it that way.
02
Reserve a car
Book through the member portal. Half-day, full-day, or a weekend. Patron members get first pick. No mileage anxiety. No ownership headaches.
03
Drive. Return. Repeat.
Pick up at the clubhouse. We walk you through the car. Then it's yours for the day. When you bring it back, we handle everything else. Fuel's on you. So are incidentals — but we screen carefully so it rarely comes to that.
Membership

Three tiers. One fleet.
We cover everything but the fuel.

The club covers insurance, maintenance, storage, and detailing. Members cover fuel. What happens on your watch is on you — but we screen carefully so it rarely comes to that.

The Club

Built around a simple idea.

The cars you've always wanted exist. The ownership nightmare that comes with them also exists. We solved that. FTLAC is a private members club where the thrill belongs to you and the headaches belong to us.

Why we exist

The problem with great cars.

The E60 M5 has one of the greatest engines ever built. It also has rod bearings, VANOS, ten throttle actuators at $300 each, and an SMG pump that will ruin your Tuesday. The 3000GT VR4 is a 1999 engineering marvel. It is also a 1999 maintenance commitment. The Maserati GranTurismo sounds like nothing else on earth — and bills like nothing else either. We love these cars enough to maintain them obsessively. You love them enough to drive them. That's the deal.

01
Curated Fleet
Seven cars chosen for one reason: they're brilliant to drive and painful to own. Not safe bets. Not rentals. The cars that make you feel something — because we can afford to maintain them properly and you can't afford the consequences if you don't.
02
Private Clubhouse
15–21 NW 9th Ave. A 4,114 SF warehouse we converted into a place where people who care about cars actually want to spend time. Six bays, a lounge, an espresso bar, and a second-floor overlook. The fleet lives here. So does the community.
03
Screened Membership
Invitation only. We're not precious about it — we just want people who understand what they're driving. Members who respect the cars, treat the clubhouse as their own, and add something to the community. The screening process protects everyone.
04
South Florida, Properly
Fort Lauderdale is the right city for this. The driving is good, the weather is better, and there's a real community of people here who understand what we're building. A1A in a 996 Turbo with the sun going down. That's the pitch.
The property

15–21 NW 9th Avenue.

A fully renovated 1954 freestanding warehouse in Fort Lauderdale. Six drive-in bays, 15-foot clear ceilings, epoxy floors, new electrical, and a second-floor glass-walled office that overlooks the entire floor. We bought it. Not leasing. Owning — which matters in a city where property values only go one direction.

The building sits in both a RAC Zone and an Opportunity Zone, giving us options on the real estate side that most clubs don't have. The property is an asset, not just an address.

The Cars

Seven legends. Zero ownership regret.

Every car in the fleet was chosen for the same reason: it's brilliant to drive and a nightmare to own. We did that on purpose. Tap any card to find out why it belongs here.

The philosophy

Why these cars.

The standard
Every car had to earn its place. It has to be genuinely exciting to drive — not impressive-on-paper exciting, actually exciting. It has to have a reputation. And ideally, it has to be the kind of car that would cost you your sanity to own privately.
The range
JDM, German, Italian, American. Turbocharged, naturally aspirated, AWD, RWD. Something for every kind of driving day — canyon run, highway blast, cruise night, or just the joy of pointing something ridiculous at an on-ramp.
Phase 2
The fleet grows. Founder members get input on what comes next. We're already thinking about it — and some of the candidates are significantly more unhinged than what you see here.
Membership

Invitation only. Always.

We keep the club small on purpose. Every member is vetted, every application reviewed. If you're here, someone thought you'd be a good fit — and we want to make sure you agree.

The tiers

Three tiers. One fleet. No repair bills.

The club covers insurance, maintenance, storage, and detailing. Members cover fuel. What happens on your watch is on you — but we screen carefully so it rarely comes to that.

Common questions

FAQs

How does the points system work?
Each tier receives a monthly point allocation. Each car in the fleet carries a point cost per booking day — higher-demand cars cost more points. Unused points don't roll over, but Founder members can carry a small balance. The booking portal shows live availability and point costs.
What happens if I damage a car?
The club carries comprehensive coverage. Members are responsible for the vehicle while it's in their care — cosmetic damage (wheel scuffs, minor scratches) is billed at cost against a card on file. Structural or at-fault collision goes through the club's policy with a member deductible. We screen carefully specifically so this stays rare.
Can I bring guests to the clubhouse?
Driver and Founder members can bring guests to the clubhouse during staffed hours. Guests must be signed in and are the member's responsibility. Founder members can also bring a guest on club drives.
Is there a waitlist?
Founding spots are limited and we intend to keep them that way. If spots are full when you apply, you'll go on a waitlist by tier. We'll reach out when something opens up — or when Phase 2 capacity allows us to expand.
What does concierge storage mean?
Founder members can store one personal vehicle at the clubhouse on our four-post lifts. We maintain a service log, keep the car clean, and monitor battery and tire pressure. It's your car — we just keep it like it's ours.
How do I actually apply?
Fill out the form below. Tell us about yourself, which tier you're interested in, and how you heard about us. We review every application personally and respond within a week. If it looks like a fit, we'll invite you for a clubhouse tour before anything is finalized.
